Fronted by the singer and guitarist Andrés Granadero, Magic Room delivers a fiery brit rock sound with powerful vocals like The Animals punchy blues meets White Stripes bold rock.
A modern-day The Kinks, Andrés started playing rumba in Spanish restaurants in Manchester (UK) nearly a decade ago, when he got influenced by the Brit rock sound and 60’s blues. Magic Room was born out of friendship and love for music in a small student house in south Manchester. The band played in all sorts of venues: festivals, old pubs, squat houses and even travelled around European main cities busking on the streets. After few years active in the English north west, the band dismantled to allow the members to travel and work on their own projects.
Then Andrés retook the project in Mexico after meeting Paco in a Mexican bar toilet. Then Bubu and Pablo joined. The band is playing in small venues delivering a bold and sweaty stumpy 60’s rock. Their catchy guitar riffs and strong vocal melodies stay ringing in their fans’ heads for days. Earning comparisons with Eric Burdon, Andrés is an established frontman that keeps the audience dancing and stomping throughout their shows, being the rest of the band the perfect deliverers for their eruptive beats.
Magic Room released their debut EP “The Magic Room Band” in April 2014 and they are now preparing to release new singles throughout 2017.
